Exquisites Winery Barnyard Wedding

Exquisite Events had the wonderful opportunity to meet one of their brides and grooms this past Saturday. Not only is the church gorgeous and the venue is breathtaking, Jennifer and David are picture perfect clients!

Jennifer and David will be tying the knot in this historical beauty where it is illuminated in stained glass windows.

THE VENUE!!

This is where the guests will enter

SOMETHING BLUE?! Or at least one of her something blues. Can you imagine the photo op in this car! So Awesome!!

Jennifer and Exquisite discussed the idea of lighting the pathway in luminaries as the guests drive off. How romantic and a great way to end the night.

Thanks Jennifer and David for allowing Exquisite to DOC your wedding. You two are fabulous and has made our job easy! We can't wait for your beautiful day!

WOW, is Exquisite up for the task?

.... OF COURSE WE ARE!! :)

Last week, our team went to scope out the venue for our breast cancer event. The building has history. A Lot of History! It's over 100 years old with minimal updates.

After taking a full and complete tour, sketching out a few blueprints, taking measurement of every nook and cranny and all the while trying to capture the beauty in itself, we leave you with our challenge.

How does one transform an old structure into a sophisticated piece of art. Our focus is to "OF COURSE" have that WOW factor everyone looks for. We want drapes! We want uplights! We want backdrops! We want centerpieces that Alameda hasn't seen before! We want texture! We want splashes of glam! We want it all!

Oh and did I tell you? Exquisite is working on a $500-$700 budget to have our vision come to life. We have a total of 3 rooms to design including the foyer and refacing the front building.

So what do you think? Can Exquisite accomplish the task at hand? Can we make it an Exquisite night to remember?

With that in mind, here is a little food (pics of th
e venue) for thought.

Good Night! Sleep Tight! ;)

Breath Taking Photo Ops

What really defines "taking your breath away"? As we are in the midst of wedding season, it is only natural that an event coordinator gets intrigued with everything and anything that has to do with binding two souls into one.
What takes my breath away is simplicity. What's natural. What's creative. What's unique. What's elaborate in so many unspoken words.
This morning, I jumped on one of my favorite photogs blog, One Love Photo. I can honestly drown myself in the beauty of their work. I'm at a lost for words.
Just take a look at how personal and intimate these photographs are. You can tell TLC was definitely put into each and every shot.

Thanks One Love Photo for sharing your pieces. It honestly took my breath away :)

Getting Inspired for our Barnyard Wedding

Exquisite is meeting one of our gorgeous brides later this month. We are in need of a full on feel of the ceremony and venue and of course all the little details that come with. We are ecstatic to have the privilege og DOCing a wedding in a barnyard/winery setting.

So, OF COURSE, we had to pull up some inspirations. Although, our super bride pretty much has all the details panned out, we decided to do a little inspiration soul searching for ourselves.

Don't you just love the quaint warm feeling a barnyard sets off. Absolutely adorable.

Breast Cancer Fundraiser Event

Exquisite has been asked to lead the creative designing aspect for the Breast Cancer Fundraiser in November. Last night we had our first committee meeting with the wonderful Adam, Toni, Milly, Bryan, Don and of course Exquisite.

We presented our vision in hopes they would dig it. Of course we had our doubts but those feelings were quickly flipped. The feedback was UNANIMOUS! They loved it. They went for it. And most of all, they believed in it. It was surprisingly the easiest and most enjoyable first experience of exquisite ever pitching anything.

We look forward to working with this amazing and vibrant team.

And with that, we leave you with a few pictures recapping the night...

TEAM EXQUISITE!

In the midst of planning this production I knew it wouldn't be complete without having a strong and reliable partner. Someone who I can count on. Someone who I know would help take Exquisite to the next level. I'm so excited to introduce the world to the most beautiful, intelligent, go gettin' Johna to Exquisite.

Johna is someone who I hold near and dear to my heart. My life wouldn't be complete without her. SHE is MY right hand gal, my road dawg, my confidant. It was probably the easiest and smartest decision I have made for Exquite thus far.

So without further ado, I give to you, Exquites Pride and Joy.....

JOHNA!
