Exquisite's REAL WEDDING: Erika and Marcos

Erika is the epitome of elegance and grace. Marcos is a strapping man full of poise. And together, I had the opportunity to witness how the two became one. And with that, they left us a night to remember.

The church was filled with family and friends decorated in nothing but pure religion. I love how all the church details are so simple yet dramatic. Every statue, every piece of art were so magnetic that I'm at a loss of words. So I leave you... pictures

The details were breathtaking. What more can one ask for. Erika had it all. Mahogany chiavari chairs surrounding a gorgeous layout of chocolate satin pintuck linens. A chocolate satin napkin neatly folded atop. Pretty little place cards embelished with a little bling. Menu cards fit for a queen and last but not least, drop dead gorgeous floral arrangements showcasing nothing but the best... fully bloomed Black Magic red roses.

Can you say... DROOL WORTHY CAKE! We're not worthy!

SIGN-IN Table was nothing less than spectacular! Please forgive me as I took the pictures before the rose petals were sprinkled in between each row of escort cards.

And once you thought it was over... THINK AGAIN! They not only had San Francisco's best known Spanish DJ Nica entertaining us with his hit master spins, he was accompanied by

A TRIO!

A MARIACHI BAND

and last but not least a 13 piece BANDA!

Talk about a night to remember!

It was an absolute pleasure serving Erika and Marcos as their wedding day coordinator. Every time I think of their beautiful day, I continue to count my blessings. My job just couldn't get any better. I mean, what's better than being apart of everyone's happiest day of their lives. My life is surrounded by romance. (sigh) It's a beautiful thing.

Congratulation Erika and Marcos. I will remember you forever!

Rustic Purple Table Setting

Long considered girlish and perfect only for a child's room, lavender is now being taken seriously in more formal spaces. Take a look at this beauty. What a perfect setting for an intimate dinner affair. Weather it be partaking a glass of wine and hors d'ouvers with your loved one, a luncheon with your best kept ladies or even a regular old day to feast, this elegant table setting will be sure to smitten your guests.

Get the Look:
To re-create this setting with a different color scheme, start with the color of your transferware, and select a contrasting color for the linens. A blue-and-white pattern would look great with pink, and black and white can easily be paired with any color. For the centerpiece, gather flowers in the same hue as the plates or a contrasting color.

An Array of Green

To embark on the subject of colors, I've always been one to read between the lines. To search meanings that run deeper than it being "just another color". When planning a wedding or designing an event, I have found a greater respect for colors and their meanings.
If your still soul searching for the perfect color palette and is in need of a deeper meaning, look no further. My color palette label will help you decide.
In this post, I have managed to find breathtaking inspirational boards focusing on the depth of green.

COLOR DEFINITION FOR GREEN
Green is the color of nature, fertility, life. Grass green is the most restful color. Green symbolizes self-respect and well being. Green is the color of balance. It also means learning, growth and harmony. Green is a safe color, if you don't know what color to use anywhere use green.
Green is favored by well balanced people. Green symbolizes the master healer and the life force. It often symbolizes money. It was believed green was healing for the eyes. Egyptians wore green eyeliner. Green eyeshades are still used. You should eat raw green foods for good health. Friday is the day of green. Green jade is a sacred stone of Asia.
Green Energy
Green contains the powerful energies of nature, growth, desire to expand or increase. Balance and a sense of order are found in the color green. Change and transformation is necessary for growth, and so this ability to sustain changes is also a part of the energy of green.
Put some green in your life when you want:
a new state of balance
feel a need for change or growth
freedom to pursue new ideas
protection from fears and anxieties connected with the demands of others
